    It's not about how you send email to mailing list.
    Mailing list members always see the mailing list email address as sender.

    As the parameter name says, it "override"s the user name, so it's always "amavis" user.

    1: This one doesn't look like generated by iRedAdmin-Pro because it misses value for column "dest_domain".
    2: What Postfix needs are just 3 columns: address, domain, active. In your case, Postfix will get 2 records by sql query, that's why you get a copy saved in mailbox.

  • 09/25/18--15:30: Disable Sogo web interface?
  • ==== REQUIRED BASIC INFO OF YOUR IREDMAIL SERVER ====
    - iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release):
    - Linux/BSD distribution name and version:
    - Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL):
    - Web server (Apache or Nginx):
    - Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro?
    - [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
    ====

    iRedMail 0.9.8 / Debian 9 / MySql / Nginx / iRedAdmin standard

    What would be the best way to disable the Sogo web interface while still preserving full functionality (Push, Calendar, etc.) for ActiveSync clients? I am using 2FA for Roundcube access and do not use the Sogo web interface at all so I'd like to disable it for security reasons. Nginx doesn't like it if I simply rename the Sogo template files and I'm having difficulty figuring out a proper method.

    Thanks for any tips -

    Aw nevermind, I figured it out, simply comment out the include Sogo template line in '00-default-ssl.conf' (not certain if that is the best way to do it, but it works. wink  )

  • That helped a little, I had to rewrite and create a new virtual site for awstats.  Thanks for your help, I'll post my source.

    I meant that USER does not WORK anymore.
    So the PERSON which uses blue@ does not do its job anymore smile

    Both mailboxes do exist.

    I only want to forward all incoming messages to blue@example.com to red@example.com

    Sorry for the confusion

    Thank you.
    But I did not mean AdminLog.
    I need to have a history of sent and received emails in the admin panel for longer than three days.

    Dear Zhang,

    I found the problem myself - I installed a fresh installation of 0.9.8 to a VM and compared the transports.

        -o smtpd_client_restrictions=reject

    needed to be

        -o smtpd_client_restrictions=permit_mynetworks,reject

    This fixed everything.

    However, thanks for your help and the hint that the problem is in master.cf

    Enjoy your coffee !

    Hi Zhang,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Record 70, the one to which you refer, was generated by iRedAdmin (non-Pro, which is why I've posted this in the iRedMail Support section), when the user was added there. This is on a month-old, new server. All of the users added under iRedAdmin look the same, with nothing in the "dest_domain" column, but I note that on my Pro server *no* records in the "forwardings" table are blank. Record 71 was added using the instructions at https://docs.iredmail.org/sql.user.mail.forwarding.html , which are INSERT commands instead of the UPDATE commands I'd expect if the instructions were to modify an existing row.

    OK, so it's not clear to me then what I should have if I only want mail to user1@domain1.com to be redirected to user2@domain2.com, since that seems to differ from what is at the "SQL: User mail forwarding" link above.

    That is what I assumed. I have commented this out again in order to do the learning per user, and not with the default user.

    This is another way to call sa-learn to learn spam/clean messages.

    I double checked my configuration, and it seems like it has "disappeared". Either I'm looking the wrong place (/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf) or more likely my custom configuration have been overwritten during and update of Dovecot sad
    I'll try to walk through the guide again and see if I can restore a working setup.

    Hi Craig,

    - If you want to save a copy, make sure you have record with 'address=<user>, forwarding=<same-user>'.
    - If you do not want to save a copy, make sure you do not have record with 'address=<user>, forwarding=<same-user>'.

    This is exactly what i mentioned in #4 reply. cool

    Thanks for your coffee. smile

    Default settings are set in /var/www/iredadmin/libs/default_settings.py:

    AMAVISD_REMOVE_MAILLOG_IN_DAYS = 3
    AMAVISD_REMOVE_QUARANTINED_IN_DAYS = 7

    You should copy them to /var/www/iredadmin/settings.py then set a proper value.

    - Did you disable this "blue@" with iRedAdmin-Pro?

    When I manually modify the affected record in the MySQL table, then iRedMail Pro does show the forwarding correctly in the list.

    Which column/value did you modify?
