Its more than 1300 emails in archive folder which are stuck. Actually I do not have any knowledge on /usr/bin/mlmmj-receive command, how to use it for resending.

Postfix mlmmj logs shows nothing, its just sending fine.  just one odd log:

Oct 8 17:33:39 mail /usr/bin/mlmmj-send[10356]: mlmmj-send.c:511: Mailserver would not let us QUIT. We close the socket anyway though. Mailserver reply = [none / error / closed connection]: Broken pipe

Mailing list members have see sender1@mydomain.com as sender and not ML, in some email ( some members are my collegue ) in the headers there is Reply-To: with the ML address, but sender1@mydomain.com have not set it.

How did you create this mailing list? You should create the subscribable mailing list for this purpose.

iRedMail has 2 mailing list types recently:

    - one is implemented like mailing forwarding. real sender is displayed in the From: address in the email received by members.
    - another one is implemented with mlmmj and we call it subscribable mailing list. The mailing list address is displayed in From: address.

Sorry about this trouble. it’s caused by mlmmjadmin not running, you can easily fix it by start or restart mlmmjadmin service.

    Hi,
I’m using iRedMail-0.9.8 latest free version on Ubuntu 18.04 machine with mysql data base configuration. Free version doesn’t support by default email aliases, although manually I managed to create/import aliases and map to email/inbox in mysql database. All the emails send to aliases and coming to the users inbox.
I was wondering/asking for support if I can get email aliases drop down menu for composing new message. So the sender (from) email address can be chosen between email or aliases.

    Hi,

I am facing one issue regarding REPLY TO address over maillist created from mlmmjadmin via iRedAdmin-Pro panel.

Emails are coming to any maillist and it gets delivered to subscribers of same maillist, which is fine. However when any user try REPLY or REPLY all it automatically replies to MAILLIST ID not the sender's email ID from where the email came. This is creating havoc at my end as having more than 100 maillists and users are not able to reply directly to senders.

Is there any settings which can be modified to avoid this reply to address issues?

Tried playing with /etc/postfix/sender_access.pcre defined in smtpd_sender_restrictions in main.cf file.

    Added

    /(.*)/ prepend Reply-To: $1

This adds original sender's email ID in reply-to address, however when sending email to maillist, it comes with 2 reply-to addresses.

    1. with maillist ID
    2. original sender ID

So if we hit reply it now adds 1. and 2. IDs as well as when we hit Reply All it adds both IDs.

Now I think I will have to dig out more to remove maillist ID from Reply To address field.

If you have set reject_sender_login_mismatch plugin activated then it will not allow such emails.

This is not applicable in this case.
iRedAPD doesn't get mail headers (and mail body) from Postfix, so iRedAPD doesn't know the sender address in "From:" header. which means iRedAPD cannot reject this fake email.

I am using Linux ubuntu 16.0.4.
After running the tar command and went to in that folder.
I tried to run bash iRedMail.sh
Throws me error no such file or directory.
I used the ls command and checked there is no such file exists.

Can you please tell me how to solve this ?
    Thanks

With default iRedMail settings, there's no setting to mark new email as read automatically.

I have no idea why it happened, but this is a suggestion: pick up one account which has the issue, then:

    - Close ALL mail client applications. like desktop MUA, mobile phones (for example, turn off the WIFI connection).
    - Login to webmail like Roundcube / SOGo and keep the web browser open.
    - Try to send few testing emails from another account, and check the mail read/unread status in webmail after email arrived.
    - Wait for few minutes and check whether it's marked as read automatically in webmail. If it's ok, then webmail is not the cause.
    - Launch one more (just one) MUA on desktop or mobile phone, repeat above steps and check webmail.

  • I didn't try it before, but i think it's possible by adding new SQL-based address book in SOGo to query SQL table "vmail.alias".

With LDAP backend and iRedAdmin-Pro, please create the mailing list by following steps:

    - Login to iRedAdmin-Pro
    - click "Add -> Mailing List"

Note: do not click "Add -> Mailing List (subscribeable)" in this case.

That means we will not be able to use mlmmj if we create normal mailing list. Will this affect future upgrades of iredmail when full mlmmj will be implemented for normal mailing list?

I think more users might come up with this issue, will it be ideal to use normal mailing list along with mlmmj?

One more thing for normal mail list.

If I create normal mail list and make it moderated, I do not see removal section of existing moderators on iRedAdmin-Pro panel. Please check attachment.
