    The question has been answered in SOGo mailing list:

    SOGo does not have a syncronization capability with other systems.
    You only can import addresses from file in LDIF or vCard format.

    Thread can be marked as SOLVED

    OK, enabled, lots of information in there. Should i look for something specific ? (I thought of sharing it here- but its a huge file with lots of dbg info )

    Hi,

    I am seeing plenty of PREGREET bans from my /var/log/syslog eg:

    Nov 19 03:56:05 mx1 fail2ban.actions[15372]: NOTICE [postfix-pregreet-iredmail] Ban 88.119.221.196
    Nov 19 03:58:11 mx1 fail2ban.actions[15372]: NOTICE [postfix-pregreet-iredmail] Ban 103.8.161.36
    Nov 19 04:01:47 mx1 fail2ban.actions[15372]: NOTICE [postfix-pregreet-iredmail] Ban 129.213.228.12
    Nov 19 04:11:24 mx1 fail2ban.actions[15372]: NOTICE [postfix-pregreet-iredmail] Ban 119.28.9.225
    Nov 19 04:22:47 mx1 fail2ban.actions[15372]: NOTICE [postfix-pregreet-iredmail] Ban 89.96.151.178

    However when I show contents of iptables (sudo iptables -n -L) I am not seeing any of these banned IP addresses listed.

    Why is this?

    When you use base64 tool instead of openssl, the result is:

    Input file incomplete.

    It looks like the line with password was folded and the missing part is the second '=' character, which is used in base64 encoding for padding. When you append the '=', the string decodes correctly:

    What's the file owner/group and permission of file /var/www/iRedAdmin-0.9.1/settings.py (and also "settings.pyc" if exists)?

    Try to restart both iptables and fail2ban service, then check again.

    You need to check the SQL query related log, usually it contains string "lookup_sql" (or "sql_lookup"? sorry i cannot remember it at this moment sad )

    Try to find out which SQL record it uses.

    I installed iRedMail 0.98 on openvz with a Linux kernel of 2.6.32. At the end of installation it failed with nginx-full

    E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

    https://askubuntu.com/questions/764222/ … untu-16-04 (something like that)

    what I did was apt purge apache2 and redo iRedmail.sh again and problem went away.

  • Installing s/mime on a server does brake the entire purpose of a s/mime certificate.

    It was just a syntax issue. This worked:

    %banned_rules = (
      'BLOCK_DOC' =>  new_RE(
        [ qr'\.(doc)$'   => 1 ] ),
      'DEFAULT' => $banned_filename_re,
    );

    - iRedMail version 0.9.8 MYSQL edition:
    - Ubuntu 16.04
    - Web server Nginx
    - Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro.

    I have troubles with set up kind of notification on my mail server. I want to make a POST request to my main server after mail server receive new mails.
    I tried to pipe message to external script and send request via curl, but after I changed "rely to"
    *
    ATTACHMENT
    *
    I do not receive any data at all. (any mails do not came in INBOX and any requests was registered on my main server)
    I have tested last script separately, it works fine.

    Any suggestion to do this via pipe, or via dovecot  + plugins.

    Many thanks!

    Your script gets the full email message by piping. like this:

    cat message.eml | /home/vmail/script.sh

    By the way, try to move your script out of /home/vmail, for example, /opt/script.sh (for testing purpose to avoid permission issue).

    hi,

    suddenly the iredadminpro interface is not working any more.
    Error:
    Truncated or oversized response headers received from daemon process 'iredadmin': /opt/www/iredadmin/iredadmin.py

    i did add WSGIApplicationGroup %{GLOBAL} and restarted apache but the error persists.

    any suggestions?
