Hi , i m looking the backup file in /var/vmail/backup
If i execute this i dont recived any mail , but in cron this send the mail correctly-

I have some questions about building mail-server:
1. Can I track vacation messages? It may be need for proove sender about notification in vacation message.
2. Can I send one vacation messages for one sender if sender put several people in recipient filed? All recipient will be in one domain. I don't know where it may be: dovecot, postfix or dovecot-sieve.

Hello, iRedMail people.

I deleted an unused domain and set the mailboxes to be deleted next day. There was only 1 mailbox and it used to belong to a postmater (I changed postmasters earlier). Now I get my inbox overfilled with error messages saying:

* Delete old mailboxes (1 in total).
* <<< ERROR >>> Cannot convert timestamp in maildir path (/var/vmail/vmail1/mail.xxxxx.com/p/o/s/postmaster/), skip.

How can I handle this?

I have installed iredmail with active directory 2012R2 as backend and it all works well. What I have noticed is when I delete a large amount of emails from the inbox from outlook and then empty the deleted item box, there is a massive lag for that to get replicated to the server. It actually does not delete all the emails from the server as when I log on sogo or roundcube, I can still see some of them in the inbox on the seb interface. If I do the same action from sogo or roundcude, those emails are gone and also from outlook.

My question is has anyone seen this behavour and if they manage to get outlook to sync better with Sogo assuming the issue is the sync with Sogo.

Outlook is version 2016.

i am getting the following emails from netdata;

ipv4.tcplistenissues Chart

I've noted the comments in some support questions about netdata being a little over sensitive about ipv4 tcp listen drops. Back in September I adjusted the reporting level to be >1 rather than >0 in /opt/netdata/etc/netdata/health.d/tcp_listen.conf and what had been a several times a day report became a once a month report.

Now, a couple of months later it has suddenly become a 30+ reports a day, all reporting between 1 and 2 listen drops.

Anything I can find online suggests this is typically incomplete ICMP requests of some variety - but when checking with other tools I can find nothing.

Whilst no-one appears to be overly worried about this alarm (other than bot attacks, which I think the firewall should be blocking), whenever behaviour of a system changes I like to understand why, and this seems a significant change in behaviour.

Does anyone know what this alarm on netdata actually does, and whether it is something to completely switch off, change the alarm level (in which case what would a sensible trigger be, and why please), or should I now be panicking and expecting problems.

All services appear to be functioning as normal.

and after installation successfully and finish I cannot access to the
Roundcube webmail: https://your_server/mail/
SOGo Groupware: https://your_server/SOGo
Web admin panel (iRedAdmin): httpS://your_server/iredadmin/

I used my IP, I used domain name too and not works.

All is correctly only problem how to access.

Hello!

I have installed and got working the following:

iRM 0.9.8
Ubuntu 18.04
MySQL
Nginx

However, logging into RoundCube results in the following from tail -f /var/log/maillog

Should I be trying to connect to port 993 instead of 143?
If so, how do I change it?

What I think it might be is the password for the roundcube user for mysql is wrong or not set?
I don't recall setting a password for this user while setting up iRM 0.9.8 with RC option checked.

yes, however, when I run dovecot -F I get permission denied - I need to do sudo dovecot -F is that normal?

What do you mean "not work"? Can you open the web page or login page?
When you access the web applications, does Nginx have any log?

Dovecot sieve handles vacation message very well, i don't think you need to worry about or tune it.

- The script itself doesn't send out email, but it does print some messages on console.
- When runs the script in cron, if the script generates any output, cron will send email to cron user with the output as mail body.

Try to configure Postfix on iRedMail to query Active Directory, so that Postfix knows the email addresses of local users, this way it can reject the emails which are sent to non-existing addresses.
