    I installed iredmail 0.9.9 on a clean server. I can not update iredadmin to iredadmin-Pro
    Running bash upgrade_iredadmin.sh failed with error

    [root@mx tools]# bash upgrade_iredadmin.sh

    * HTTP server root: /var/www
    <<< ERROR >>> Directory (/var/www/iredadmin) is not a symbol link created by iRedMail. Exit.

    Провел чистую установку на новый сервер релиза 0.9.9, Не могу обновить панель до iredadmin-pro 2.9.0. Спасибо за помощь

    One question here:
    How you permit user access to shared mailbox, in client mail (e.g. Thunderbird) and in mail server ( via sql to add user) ?

    You should use iRedAdmin-Pro-SQL-3.0 for iRedMail-0.9.9.

    I have run into this error

    mysql vmail < /root/iredmail.mysql

    ERROR 1091 (42000) at line 4: Can't DROP 'local_part'; check that column/key exists

    Where did you download this "iredmail.mysql"? i suppose there's no "local_part" column involved in iRedMail-0.9.9.

    After updating iredadmin I got Error: (1054, "Unknown column 'mailboxformat' in 'field list'")
    when I try to create new mailbox

    The problem still there, even after I tried to manually convert sysvinit to systemd for amavis in order to avoid the generation unit file phase.

    The service is required to start after network is online on each amavis unit file but still fail to bind to its ports when booting, needing to restart in order to work.

    I don't know if there's some issue with Debian Stretch at this point.

    I am trying to set up dkim record for my mail server but when i test it using

    amavisd-new testkeys

    i get error

    i have configured DNSlike:
    server on which iredmail is running: mail2.example.com
    First virtudal domain: demo.example.dom

    dns setup:

    the problem i am facing is emails from my mail server are always marked as spam by gmail even though i have specified DKIM and SPF records andit passes spf and dkim tests on via gmail and also via mx toolbox so  how can i resolve this issue?

    for the server part i wrote a small php based ui which does basically execute the following sql at the end of the day: " insert into loginas values ('USER_MAILBOX_WHO_SHOULD_HAVE_ACCESS@yourdomain.com','SHARED_MAILBOX@yourdomain.com');

    for the client mail part:
      - as username you have to use the following:  SHARED_MAILBOX@yourdomain.com*USER_MAILBOX_WHO_SHOULD_HAVE_ACCESS@yourdomain.com
      - as password you use the password of USER_MAILBOX_WHO_SHOULD_HAVE_ACCESS@yourdomain.com

    That is what I have done.  Installation proceeded successfully on a re-imaged machine.  The applications do not all run, but I had better start a separate thread for that.

    The installer worked sweetly (apart from a blank window in place of the first welcome screen. only the buttons were present.)

    https://mydomain/iredadmin/ gives: "502 Bad Gateway \ nginx"

    https://mydomain/mail/ gives: "DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED! \
    Unable to connect to the database! \ Please contact your server-administrator."

    https://mydomain/SOGo gives a nice login page.  I am unsure how to create a user and password, but it looks encouraging.

    I have tried sending test mail to my unix user on the system.  Addressed to username@domain.tld, it is rejected " Relay access denied". Addressed to username@server.domain.tld, it is rejected "Recipient address rejected: Intentional policy rejection, please try again later" -- which I imagine must be greylisting.

    This looks as though the mail elements are likely working as intended. I am unsure what is going on with the other components, or where to begin looking for the configuration faults.

  • Turns out I have two server one for email and one for web, I need to see how to direct the RoundCube application to be hosted on my webserver since all port 80 traffic goes to the webserver not the email server where RoundCube resides

    Yes you must publish on DNS first. The testkey process needs to query DNS to get the public key for validation.
