I have sent email Zhang. subject: SSH Access Details
My issue is that I can't send or receive mail. Posted what I read in the log which is the only response I got.
It is possible to send mail between accounts in in the first domain. I have disabled grey-listing, and whitelisted the first domain. Wonder what the DUNNO message means, have seen your GIT about that but can't figure out what to do.
Have done everything else as described in the "How to Easily Set Up a Full-Featured Mail Server on Ubuntu 18.04 with iRedMail". Must point out that I have since one year a server that is working very well. For different reasons I want to start a new server instead of the old one.
I hope ou can give me a clue of what's going on......
Thank's

Excuse my reply to self...
I have now successfully installed on a new vm but still on Debian 9.
So evidently there must have been a problem external to iRedMail with the previous attempts. I would mark this thread CLOSED if I could see how.

Is iRedMail compatible with mailman? I believe mailman essentially relies on /etc/aliases to pipe incoming list mail to the relevant modules. If that facility is bypassed, I assume it cannot function.
TIA
Hello,
Yes, it's work for me. Tested on iRedAdmin-Pro 2.9 and 3.0 versions.
I found this solution on iRedAdmin-Pro 2.7 .
marius.timukas wrote:we have the same problem after upgrade.
Could you try this:
Open file /opt/www/iredadmin/rc_scripts/uwsgi/rhel.ini, append line below to the file:threads = 20
Then restart iredadmin service.
Hello,
It didn't help. After restarting service, I can view "mail body / headers of quarantined mail" for 4 latest messages in Quarantine. If I try view more, I'm getting error: "504 Gateway Time-out"

It should work with mailman - just like a chain, and mailman could be part of it. BUT, iRedMail already integrates mlmmj mailing list manager, you can use mlmmj directly.

Is "iredadmin" service still running when you get this "504 Gateway Time-out" error?
Please check log file /var/log/maillog instead.
hmm then how about using relayhost for testing.
I want little bit details how its gonna work like if I set globale relay host on,.
Mean all email sent from my domain will be forwarded via given email address of relayhost like gmail some-user@gmail.com? correct me if I'm wrong.
and how about settings in /etc/postfix/sasl_password
relay.server user:password
change into
smtp.gmail.com myser:mypassword (of gmail)
what is sender depended relay host
this
user@domain.com smtp_user:smtp_password
change into
myuser@gmail.com myuser:mypasswod (of gmail)
Thanks

Hi,
After updating to the latest version of iRedmail (0.9.9) every night I get an error in the execution of the cronjob and I receive this email:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/opt/www/iredadmin/tools/cleanup_amavisd_db.py", line 54, in <module>
query_size_limit = settings.AMAVISD_CLEANUP_QUERY_SIZE_LIMIT
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'AMAVISD_CLEANUP_QUERY_SIZE_LIMIT'
How can I solve the problem?
Vincenzo
Bug confirmed and located, i'm working on it. Stay tuned.
Patch for iRedAdmin-Pro-SQL-3.0 AND iRedAdmin-Pro-LDAP-3.2:

if you're not familiar with patch, feel free to contact me (zhb _at_ iredmail _dot_ org) to get a patched version.
Hi Vincenzo,
it's a bug of iRedAdmin-0.9.2, please download iRedAdmin-0.9.3 and upgrade, it fixes this issue:
- Download directly: https://dl.iredmail.org/yum/misc/iRedAd … .3.tar.bz2
- Upgrade tutorial: https://docs.iredmail.org/migrate.or.up … admin.html
Unfortunately there is no /var/log/maillog which indicates that there is something wrong?
Please check log file /var/log/maillog instead.
My issue is that I can't send or receive mail.
When you send a email, there MUST be some log lines in /var/log/maillog (or /var/log/mail.log). If sending email failed, Postfix will also log relevant errors in this log file.
So could you try again and check the log file?
Thank you. iRedMail is an impressive package.
The mailing list manager seems to be in the "pro" package, which would be good for a commercial site, but is far outside my budget for charity work.
I am slowly discovering what is included! I am disappointed that the groupware component does not include some kind of forum or bulletin board. But first I need to discover how to add a user to it, then I will explore the options further.
I don't have /var/log maillog or /var/log/mail don't know why....

Turns out I'm just a bit stupid and my firewall was blocking webtraffic
