Did you configure per-user or per-domain transport for this user or domain?
iRedMail uses 'dovecot' as default transport.
Please try to execute it manually again with '-D' option to check debug infomation. Reference:
http://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/RuleUpdates#Other
Are they have correct A and MX DNS records?
Are they have correct A and MX DNS records?
I checked domain 'coastal-business.com', its MX record points to domain name 'mail.coastal-business.com' which points to IP address '208.180.37.170'.
Domain 'cbsvcare.com', its MX record points to domain name 'mail.cbsvcare.com' which points to IP address '208.180.37.174'.
Which is internal IP address? Please show us real domain name in Postfix log.
A quick search "postfix addition smtp port" with Google will give you many result.
Simply add below line in /etc/postfix/master.cf, then restart Postfix service. Replace '2525' by the port number you want.
2525 inet n - n - - smtpd
RELAY PROBLEM:
If I set mx=1 adress verification is switched off completely - I dont want this!
mx=0 verifies all adresses againt the "virtual mailbox table"
This is O.K. for local domains/users which are using roundcube as mailreader
This is not O.K. for relayed domains to another server because I dont want to maintain an extra relaymap. The standard postfix behavior is to verify against the given relay host for this domain (default_transport). Of course this setting can be overruled by a given address_verify_default_transport map. Unfortunately neither the first one nor the other ae functional with iRedmail.
My question is why?
If you mark a domain as backup mx (set mx=1), how do you verify all addresses? query 'virtual mailbox table' too?
I don't think Postfix will verify address against the given relay host for this domain, and it should be 'relay_transport', not 'default_transport'. relay_transport is set to 'relay' by default, it doesn't verify address.
I'm still not very clear what you want about this question/wishlist.
ARCHIVING PROBLEM:
It works with iRedmail!
Again: My question is how to set the "mail is archived" not just for the whole server, but for just a few domains or a single user.
This by the way is not a questionhow to do this, this is a feature request
See the subject: WHISLIST
Maybe you can try to define your own $policy_bank, then list certain domains/users as member of this $policy_bank.
I didn't try it before, you have to try it yourself, or ask in Amavisd mailing list.
Would you recommend any calendar plugin for roundcube 9.X.
Thanks
Pine
O comented the lines
# Sleep random amount of time before proceeding to avoid overwhelming the servers
#sleep $(expr $RANDOM % 7200)
#unset arglist
An now it seems to work.
I will wait for the cron execution and see if it executes at night
I didn't use one, but this one looks great, use it on your own. test it on testing/virtual machine first.

Hey,
In an account configured as POP3 in Outlook and as IMAP in the Android, is it possible to make all messages downloaded via POP3 automatically appear as read in Android?
Thanks,

Hi all,
This is my first time using iRedMail and for the first time it's work like a charm I'm using Apache as the web server to serve the webmail and the iredadmin. Both work with no errors.
Since my customer want to used Nginx, I've already configured uwsgi to server the iredadmin and it's also work. But except the roundcube, When I start the php_cgi and try to access the webmail it gives a blank page and the errors as above.
Does anyone encounter same like me ?

Hi,
So I followed this guide (http://www.iredmail.org/install_iredmail_on_ubuntu.html) and set up iRedMail 0.8.5 on my Droplet (12.04 LAMP Ubuntu), my hostname was MYDOMAIN.com and I used mail.MYDOMAIN.com as my first Virtual Domain Name. Using PostgreSQL.
For some reason it is not sending or receiving any e-mails until I "Reboot"
Thanks for your assistance.
Could you please extract related log in Postfix log file in /var/log/mail.log and paste here? It's hard for us to help troubleshoot without related log.
Do you have LAMP installed before iRedMail installation?
[17-Sep-2013 19:05:21 +0000]: DB Error: Configuration error. Unsupported database driver: in /var/www/roundcubemail-0.9.2/program/lib/Roundcube/rcube_db.php on line 75 (GET /)
It says "unsupported database driver", do you have correct database settings (driver, username, password) in Roundcube config file (/var/www/roundcubemail-0.9.2/config/db.inc.php)?
It depends on your mail client application. POP3 will download messages from server and delete them on server by default.
When I'm using Apache, the webmail can be access without any error. The error appear once I'm switch to Nginx... The config should be the same right ?
Did you enable the DKIM ? If yes , you should add a TXT records in your DNS setting.
The /etc/hosts is important to set it correctly.
Hi, Yes I had LAMP installed before iRedMail installation, it was an Ubuntu 12.04 LAMP bundle from DigitalOcean.
I chose PostgreSQL because I didn't think it would interfere with anything.
It's actually sending/receiving e-mail now, just takes a very long time. (sometimes a few minutes, sometimes over an hour)

Hi, my webapp send mail over iRedmail server(with authenticated account: eg: webapp1@mydomain1.com), but i can't send mail with custom header like:
Return-Path: bounce-webapp1@mydomain2.com
The reason behinds is: i have another mail server @mydomain2.com to processing bounce-email (detect spam sender, detect not-exist recipient address, v.v...)
How I can configure iRedmail(postfix) to allow webapp1@mydomain1.com set a different "Return-Path" header like:
bounce-webapp1@mydomain2.com
(when i set custom header & send, i see error in postfix log, like that:
Sep 17 10:55:06 mail postfix/smtpd[28996]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[113.x.y.z]: 553 5.7.1 <bounce-webapp1@mydomain2.com>: Sender address rejected: not owned by user webapp1@mydomain1.com; from=<bounce-webapp1@mydomain2.com> to=<abcd@xyz.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<mydomain1.com>
Thank you very much!
