* yes the machine 2 has a MTA (sendmail)
* No, i don;t configure moodle to send email via iredmail. i use moodle just for web app in machine 2. and for some case i will use moodle to send email to machine 1 (iredmail) but iredmail can receive the email. (with other mail it can)
* There are no error log in my moodle and iredmail. this is the log after i reboot and test to send an email from mchine 2
