Hello!
I have an email account on my iredmail server i.e. myname@mydomain.com, and I want to receive mails addressed to alias1@mydomain.com to my myname@mydomain.com account.

HI,
I have ubuntu 13.04 and install iredmail 0.8.5 on it. Everything works fine except roundcube. When I try to go to the web-mail, i see white page. Apache log shows 2 errors with roundcube:
1) PHP Warning: Error writing to log file /usr/share/apache2/roundcubemail/logs/errors; Please check permissions in /usr/share/apache2/roundcubemail-0.9.2/program/lib/Roundcube/rcube.php on line 1056
But the owner of the log and temp folders is apache, and permissions are 0755.
2) PHP Warning: Configuration error. Unsupported database driver: in /usr/share/apache2/roundcubemail-0.9.2/program/lib/Roundcube/rcube.php on line 1156
I think there is a problem with a db.inc.php settings. I Have mysql 5.5 installed in the system. In phpmyadmin i see that there is a new table named "roundcubemail". But in db.inc.php at first there was mysqli as a database setting, I changed to mysql but nothing changed.
Could you help me?

*) Any related log in Postfix log file (/var/log/maillog)?
*) Do you have correct DNS A/MX records for this mail server?
OK, user alias.
*) Unfortunately, iRedMail doesn't support this with Active Directory by default.
*) Fortunately, you can use a LDAP attribute to store addition mail address like 'alias1@mydomain.com' in user profile of user 'myname@' in AD, then update LDAP queries in Postfix/Dovecot config file to get this addition email address.
To update Postfix/Dovecot config files, please refer to a original iRedMail server with OpenLDAP backend.

Already answered in your another forum post:
http://www.iredmail.org/forum/post24401.html#p24401
it's mentioned in the link i pasted in the post.
But the owner of the log and temp folders is apache, and permissions are 0755.
It should be owned by 'www-data:www-data' on Debian/Ubuntu.
2) PHP Warning: Configuration error. Unsupported database driver: in /usr/share/apache2/roundcubemail-0.9.2/program/lib/Roundcube/rcube.php on line 1156
Not sure about this issue. Do you have PHP module 'php-mysql' and 'php-mysqli' installed? Does it work after you fixed the first issue?
1) It is owned by www-data:www-data
2) php -m shows that both modules installed on the system
The problem is still active
Cluebringer ships a patch for this optional Amavisd support, that means you have to patch your Amavisd first.
Reference: http://devlabs.linuxassist.net/projects … ry/INSTALL (Search "amavisd" in this file)
I have been fighting with spam ever since the introduction of cluebringer in debian. You're saying that even though it's presented as being properly deployed, the cluebringer admin UI is totally useless unless I perform this patch?
Sorry for hijacking this thread - But is anyone able to connect to the managesieve service from public side?
I have running iRedMail 0.8.4 and telnet on localhost 4190 works properly.. But if i try to connect from client-side the service is simply not answering the requests.. I don't find anything which could potentially restrict the connections to localhost - except the listen-options of managesieve - but its already listening on 0.0.0.0:4190..
Does anyone successfully connect to the managesieve service to use sieve-plugins for various mailclients?
It works perfectly, thank you.
Just to know: Why did you choose this setting as the default? I guess it's because iRedMail is designed for small ISPs which have a backup connectivity, correct?
I would recommend you to avoid UCEPROTECT as much as possible. You can't choose worse service, believe me.

Hello Zhang,
Both tables msgs and msgrcpt of our amavis DB have over 1 million records now and we want to apply the above patch to remove old records older than 30 days but we don't know how to do this.
Could you please explain in details how to make use of the patch such as what file name we should save it to and how to patch it to the original file "cleanup_amavisd_db.py"? Thank you!

Hi, I have one domain with only one catchall account and it's working fine.
Now I need to add other account and it seems the catchall takes precedence and the email is never delivered to the new account.
I expect iRedMail to use catchall only if there is no other match...
Has anyone seen this before? What should I do with it? Any hints? Should I fiddle with SQL maps?

Hi Experts
We have a qmail mail server, which is dated and very fragile. I looked for alternatives and found iredmail the best suitable solution for us. We are interested in buying Prop version of iredmail and we want that all our existing mailboxes should come to new server with minimal downtime(we have 500-800 accounts)
We want to know can you provide both setup and migration service and what will be its cost and also What server spects will be best for uS
Thanks
Neelim

Hi Folks!
Since hijacking threads which are definitely on same topic seems still not to be the fine english style.. So new post new chance?
I try to use the managesieve service on iRedMail..
Since server-side filtering on filter rules created by RoundCubeMail work seamlessly and a connect via telnet on localhost:4190 also seems to be succsessful:
# telnet localhost 4190
Trying ::1...
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
"IMPLEMENTATION" "Dovecot Pigeonhole"
"SIEVE" "fileinto reject envelope encoded-character vacation subaddress comparator-i;ascii-numeric relational regex imap4flags copy include variables body enotify environment mailbox date ihave"
"NOTIFY" "mailto"
"SASL" "PLAIN LOGIN"
"STARTTLS"
"VERSION" "1.0"
OK "Dovecot ready."
I assumed a working service whcih provides connectivity from wan-side cause of this:
# netstat -lnp | grep 4190
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:4190 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 21996/dovecot
But i realized that i was wrong on that, cause the connection-attemp just times out..
Tcpdump shows that packages which arrive nerver get answerd. IP-Connectivity is assured...
I do not have any special configuration ATM - Its moree or less the default configuration since the installation..
I have no special iptables-rules in the chains - Fail2Ban seems already to be configured to surveil port 4190.
Anyway - This is a generic setup from scratch with no considerable changes..
So - how about that? Is anyone able to connect to this mangesieve service anyway? Particulary with Sieve-Plugins for all the mailclients out there?
Any hints on that? Is managesieve anyhow configured just to react on local requrests (regarding the locally working connections)? I don't find any other pivotal configuration-files than /etc/dovecot/conf.d/20-managesieve
...
Thanks for any advices...
